  • Sponsor flowers for our Bimah or a Shabbat Kiddush.

Please call the Clergy’s office at 735-8404 or use our on-line form to request an aliyah for any simcha or life cycle event. You may also wish to review the blessings recited before and after a Torah reading.

Shabbat Limud is a weekly Torah Study led by Rabbi Neil Blumofe each Saturday morning at 8:45 AM in the chapel.  Limud means study and Shabbat Limud explores Judaism's traditions, celebrations and observances as they apply to the weekly Torah portion.  Participants gather at 8:30 AM to pray P’seukei d”Zimrah (psalms and meditations) and then Rabbi Blumofe leads everyone in an informal, thought provoking and stimulating discussion.  No knowledge of Hebrew is required and everyone is welcome.

Birkat haTzibur (Blessings of the Community)

Bless our community with your participation as congregants enrich our Shabbat morning worship experience through offering their own original blessings.

Each Shabbat a fellow congregant will offer an original blessing during the Shabbat morning service. There will be one blessing presented per week covering one of these topics:
        - Love of God
        - Love of Torah
        - Israel
        - Country
        - Peace
        - Or a specific holiday
Blessings should be less than 1 minute.

If you would like to write your own blessing to share with the congregation, contact Debbie Hagan at debbiehagen@austin.rr.com.
